Respite Care
Provides parents/caregivers the opportunity to take a break from caregiving responsibilities. The HUB will have trained staff available to care for your child.
Group Home
Space available
Our group home is located in Ionia County in Hubbardston Michigan. This is an unlicensed group home with a total of 4 clients. Care is covered by room & board, CLS services, and Home Help. Clients are 18 and over. Our home focuses on being active in the community and growing independence in the home.
Consultations
Appointments are catered to your specific area of interest or need. Whether there is a specific problem area or general education on programming and resources available for you and your child.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) addresses barriers that affect your child's social, emotional, and physical needs. An OT would work with you and your child to design a specific set of goals to address what needs/adaptations are necessary for your child to succeed.
Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy, or Equine Therapy, is designed to help improve many aspects of your child's physical fitness. This includes, hand-eye coordination, trunk control & strength, balance, posture, and range of motion.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy (PT) is significant in helping your child develop/strengthen their ability to complete everyday tasks such as speech, communication, and play. PT will work with you and your child to design a specific set of goals to address the physical barriers your child may face.
Water Therapy
Water Therapy is a therapeutic process which allows individuals with disabilities the opportunity to work on muscular movements and excerises they would otherwise have trouble doing outside of the water. Water therapy can help strengthen muscles and increase join flexibility.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy works to address the speech, language, and communication needs of your child. Goals would be put in place to match your child's needs if they have a speech delay or disorder.
Procuring Equipment & Training
Having a disability may require equipment from wheelchairs, ramps, lifts, braces and more. We are here to help learn about and acquire different equipment you may need to be as independent as possible.
Psychology & Social Work
Social Work services cover many facets of your child's needs including social/emotional supports, transition planning, and employment assistance. Social work can also aide in providing resources and any additional information you may need to help you and your child meet their targeted goals.
Job Skills and Training
A job skills coach will work with the client at their job location to help them become more independent and skilled at their work location. They will also help the client obtain a job or a volunteer position at one of our partner locations if needed.
In-Home Nursing
Meeting the medical needs of your child. These needs include: administering at-home IVs, changing dressings, cleaning wounds and updating Doctors about their patient's health.
